  4. Alright So I guess I am starting to notice that when I LIKE a book or DISLIKE a book, you seem to get the larger reviews from me Unfortunately, this is a NOT SO MUCH book for me Again another historical romance, don t ask On some kinda obsession with these lately And I was well into and enjoying this book UNTIL I realized what a POS this guy was I mean in the book he sounds hot, don t get me wrong But my idea of a LOVE match, is one where Beau is NOT a freaking man whore He is supposed to be dea [...]

  5. I didn t like the H and the h, she was a strange kind of virgin no virgin, she seemed a modern independent girl, not a woman of the 1800, and he was a petulant child fucking everything in skirt, before in the meanwhile and after meting her I liked the idea the a wonderful sex is not love, and that they build their love story day by day 3 stars

  6. This was an enjoyable hot and steamy historical which I enjoyed than the first in the series This was only my second read from this author and I ve been pleasantly surprised The historical elements are well researched, the characters refreshing and the steam o meter sky high.

  7. 8. This book is extremely sexual, though the romance relationship leaves something to be desired Very very wicked.Review One word to explain this book SEXY I mean, wow, this book sizzles.I am a sucker for romance novels, though I do feel there are way too many set the regency era, but that is because I love Vikings. The characters are perfect for each other, which adds to the awe chemistry they share.Serena is a woman who knows what she wants out of life and Beau is the typical man who thinks he kno [...]

  9. I RATE THIS A 4.5 STARS.I am beginning to enjoy it when Johnson makes her heroes fall in love so easily with the heroines but they just don t realise it It is frustrating as hell to see him in denial OUR HERO The son of Sinjin, he is like his father and an absolute manwhore a signature trait of Johnson HR heroes I rather like Beau compared to all the heroes I have read because his emotions and reactions are real and he actually FELT something It is obvious through out the story that he is strug [...]

  10. Honestly I read this book because of the sex I was surprised how much I liked it The lead female was strong willed and didn t bow down to the hero s demands She took her pleasure and left I like that in a female lead I also like how the author made no bones about him continuing to sleep around Hello readers, welcome to the real world It happens Especially if he was known for sleeping around to begin with Obviously the heroine was going to be emotionally attached but I really like how she dealt w [...]

  11. Read this first in 2005, but wanted to read it again before sending it off on a mooch.Hmm, I did enjoy this one again, although the character of Beau was a bit much at times especially when it was pointed out that he s supposed to be 22 What I found noteworthy were the vats of brandy he consumed non stop It started to get a bit on my nerves, as did the nickname Glory Quite the romp though, even if it s not very convincing historically in terms of what would have been acceptable Ah well, glad to [...]

  12. I really liked this book, than the 1st one actually The only thing I kept wondering was how could Serena not get a bladder infection from all the sex they were having It was a ridiculous amount of sex The thing I liked about this book, along with the 1st one, was that the hero, Beau was as much a rake as he was described to be He even slept with other girls while in pursuit of Serena, which I was ok with.

  13. I didn t know this was an erotic read I m not a prude, but I would like a little plot with my romance This author reminded me of author Lisa Valdez on steroids If you have to have mind blowing sex every other page then this one is for you I had to laugh because man slut and wanton in heat were doing it than I think is humanly possible My eyes started to cross I have no idea where, when, or even WHY they fell in love Read it for the no way can that possibly be entertainment.

  14. Beau follows in his fathers footsteps however he is lost and greatly caught by Blight the unexpected female that captures his heart even belting his lust on other females he still can t seem to get blight out of his mind This book as with Sinful has your attention at every turn wanted to see what happens next Further just as sinful the sex scenes as very vivid, leave no imagine for the mind but captivation.

  15. I loved the heroine, Serena, right away after reading how crappy her life was I fell in love with Beau, who was controlling, self indulgent, but also very sweet The plot was a little thin, but love scenes were some of the steamiest that I had read at the time This book always stuck in my memory.

  16. Sizzling Detailed love scenes that Sinful lacked, this one satisfied Plenty of lovemaking and hot unbridled lust you can find almost every other page I liked the story and the characters, the witty and naughty exchanges, and the consistency of it all.

  17. This book probably could have been a 5 if it would wouldn t have had so much war history there at the middle end She lost me in the battles and the details of history A tish is always nice but than that nah I really don t care, sorry Guess I m too blonde.

  18. A lot of cursing, sex and reluctance on Beau s part I felt that the ending was rushed and the character s mainly Beau age kinda didn t fit in with the story line itself in my opinion.
